PE production news and shutdown China

    Yangzi Petrochemical shut down its 80kt/yr Line A of HDPE units on 12 November and restarted on 10 December and shutdown again during 22-26 December both for regular maintenance.

    Yanshan Petrochemical shut down its 60kt/yr Line 3 of LDPE units and restarted on 4 December for accident.
  Daqing Petrochemical shut down its 80kt/yr Line B of HDPE units on 9 November and  restarted on 15 November for accident.

    Daqing Petrochemical shut down its 250kt/yr and 300kt/yr HDPE/LLDPE swing units on 30 November for accident.
    Maoming Petrochemical shut down its 120kt/yr Line 1 of old LDPE units on 28 November and restarted on 22 December for accident.

    Shanghai Petrochemical shut down its 100kt/yr LDPE unit on 16 October and restarted on 17 November for regular maintenance.
    Shanghai Petrochemical shut down its 45kt/yr Line 1 of LDPE units on 9 November and restarted on 4 December for regular maintenance.
    Shanghai Petrochemical shut down its 45kt/yr Line 2 of LDPE units on 10 November and restarted on 4 December for regular maintenance.
    Lanzhou Petrochemical shut down its 60kt/yr old HDPE/LLDPE swing unit on 19 November and restarted on 1 December for accident.

    Lanzhou Petrochemical shut down its 30kt/yr LLDPE unit on 11 December and restarted on  18 December for accident.

    Shenyang Paraffin Chemical shut down its 100kt/yr LLDPE unit on 20 October and restarted on 22 November for regular maintenance.
    Fushun Petrochemical shut down its 450kt/yr HDPE/LLDPE swing unit on 8 December and restarted on 10 December for regular maintenance.
    Fujian Refining & Petrochemical shut down its 400kt/yr Line 1 of HDPE/LLDPE swing unit on 21 November and restarted on 24 November for accident.
   Qilu Petrochemical shut down its 140kt/yr LDPE unit on 24 December and restated on 27 December for regular maintenance.

    SINOPEC SABIC Tianjin Petrochemical shut down its 300kt/yr HDPE unit on 4 December and restarted on 7 December for accident.
    Zhenhai Refining & Chemical shut down its 450kt/yr LLDPE unit on 3 December and restarted on 7 December for regular maintenance.
